The Abou Dabab Diving Lodge, located in one of the most spectacular areas of the south Red Sea Riviera, is by far the most comfortable small resort designed especially for divers in the region. Opened in 2006 and with a limited number of rooms, it is furnished very elegantly with natural materials, offering the same magic atmosphere of the African safari lodges.

The beautiful Abou Dabab bay with its sandy beach and easy accessible house reef, ideal for snorkelling and diving, is just 300m on the other side of a quiet coastal road. Around 30 km north of Marsa Alam town, 30 km south of Marsa Alam airport and 10 km north of its sister Kahramana Beach Resort.

The 62 comfortable chalet-style rooms, all with wooden ceilings and natural stone floors, are situated in double bungalows; they are equipped with bathroom and shower/toilet, air conditioning, direct dial telephone, sat-tv and veranda.

The lodge offers buffets at the main restaurant within the hotel premises. At the superb beach guests can find a second restaurant with seafood specialties and a bar serving a variety of beverages, cocktails, fresh juices, as well as light snacks

The lodge has a small swimming pool with sun terrace, a reception and a lobby. Guests can use with charge the facilities available in the nearby Kahramana Beach Resort, reachable by a regular and free of charge shuttle bus. Sun beds, sun shades and towels free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Many sports and activities, such as horse back riding and camel riding, are available with charge at the sister Kahramana Beach Resort, located about 10 km to the south.

The dive centre lies right on the magnificent bay of the same name with interesting offshore house reef, ideal also for night dives. The well-known dive sites around Shaab Abou Dabab are right on your doorstep and can be easily reached by zodiac departing right from the beach.
