On return, you often spot dolphins in the channel between the islands and the coast.
- Zeytuna Beach, next to Sheraton Miramar hotel, with its long pontoon jutting out to the outer part of the reef, is a good option for those who prefer to stay on land.
- Mangroovy Beach, north of town, is a paradise for watersports and its shallow waters allow for some very easy snorkelling.
In all hotels you will find watersport centres hiring snorkelling equipment, and organising guided and non-guided snorkelling trips to the best places in the area.
